The good: The hight of the console’s armrest is good. This console is sturdy it has a good lid seal, strong hinges and latch. The assembly and installation are easy and fit is good. The straps keep the console quiet so it doesn’t rattle. What could be better: The attach at the vehicle hinge would be better using the two outboard points to reduce leverage and a lightweight aluminum bracket would be nice. The lockable latch is stout but cumbersome it has to be closed by hand. The console is heavy but this is what makes it durable.

Bench Seat Console Armrest Box for Can-Am Defender HD10|9|8|7|5

There’s already an arm rest in my Defender but it’s much too low for proper comfort. This one is great, two big cup holders and a large storage area. it’s the perfect height for resting my arm. I didn’t want to lose the use of my middle seat entirely so I just attached it with the cam buckles and it’s fine. If I need to use the middle seat I simply loosen the two buckles and it comes right away.
